Return and Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date of receipt to request a return.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return your item must be:
- In the same condition as received — unused and unconfigured
- In its original packaging with all accessories included
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase
How to return
Contact us within 30 days
Email contact@asect.com.au with your order number and reason for return. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Receive your Return Authorisation
If your return is approved we'll send you a Return Authorisation (RA) number. The return address will be confirmed at this stage.
Send your item
Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it to the address provided. For faulty or DOA items we'll provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you.
Refund processed
Once we receive and inspect your return we'll notify you within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund.
Exchanges
We don't process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the original (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Damages and incorrect items
Please inspect your order on arrival. If your item is damaged in transit, faulty or incorrect, contact us immediately at contact@asect.com.au. For Dead on Arrival (DOA) products please contact us within 7 days of receipt — see our Warranty Policy for full details.
Non-returnable items
- Items that have been installed, configured or registered
- Items returned without original packaging or missing accessories
- Special-order or custom-configured products
- Software licences and digital products
Return shipping costs
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For faulty or DOA products, ASECT covers return shipping — see our Warranty Policy.
Our returns policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and match their description. If a product has a major failure you are entitled to choose a replacement or refund.
