Shipping Policy

How shipping works at ASECT

We're a small, Australian-owned business. We don't run a warehouse full of stock. Your order ships directly from our Australian distributor's warehouse nearest to your delivery address (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth) and is delivered by StarTrack.

That's how we keep prices sharp on genuine Australian stock. It also means shipping costs what it actually costs us. We don't hide freight inside higher product prices, and we don't add a margin on top of it.

Delivery timeframes

Most orders leave the warehouse within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery to metro areas usually takes 2–5 business days after dispatch, and Express usually arrives the next business day after dispatch. Regional and remote areas can take longer. These are estimates and depend on your location and the courier. You'll get a StarTrack tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.

Why isn't shipping free on every order?

On most networking gear the margin is thin. Rather than build freight into a higher price, we keep the product price low and charge what the courier charges us. Spend over $500 and standard delivery is on us.

PO Boxes

Some items can be shipped to PO boxes. For reliable delivery and security, we recommend a street address. If your delivery address is a PO box, email contact@asect.com.au before ordering.

Split shipments

If your order contains items stocked in different warehouses, they may be dispatched separately at no additional charge. You may receive more than one tracking number.
