Ubiquiti UACC-CHIME-POE | UniFi Protect PoE Chime

A PoE-powered smart chime for indoor installation, designed to give audible and visual doorbell or access alerts to anyone inside a building served by UniFi Protect or UniFi Access.

Why this one

• It runs on standard PoE (44–57V DC, 3W maximum), so it draws power and data from a single Cat cable with no mains wiring or batteries to deal with at the mount point.
• The RGB/W LED ring gives a visible notification in addition to the chime tone, which matters in noisy spaces — a workshop or busy reception — where a sound alone gets missed.
• Managed through UniFi Protect and UniFi Access, it appears in the same dashboard as your doorbells and readers rather than requiring a separate app or hub.
• Both in-wall and on-wall mounts are included, so you can surface-mount to a corridor wall or drop it into a standard round back box without buying extra hardware.

Good fit if you already have a UniFi doorbell (such as the G4 Doorbell or G6 Entry) or a UniFi Access setup and want staff inside the building to hear and see visitor alerts without relying on a phone notification.

Worth considering something else if you need an outdoor-rated chime or one that works independently of a UniFi Protect or UniFi Access controller — this device is strictly an indoor companion to an existing UniFi system.

What you'll also need

A UniFi Protect NVR or compatible Dream Machine running UniFi Protect (or a UniFi Access hub), a PoE switch or injector with a spare port, and Cat5e or better run to the mounting point — the chime has no wireless connectivity.
