Ubiquiti UMA-D | UniFi Mesh Antenna (Directional)
A directional dual-band add-on antenna for the UAP-AC-M, aimed at point-to-point outdoor links where the stock omni antenna isn't reaching far enough.
Why this one
- The 15 dBi gain on 5 GHz concentrates signal into a 45° beam, which turns a struggling omni connection into a reliable point-to-point link across a yard, car park or between buildings.
- At 10 dBi on 2.4 GHz with a 90° beamwidth, it trades coverage angle for range in the lower band — useful when 5 GHz can't punch through obstacles on a given path.
- UV-stabilised plastic enclosure handles outdoor exposure without a separate housing, so it mounts directly wherever the AC Mesh is already positioned.
- Two RP-SMA connectors attach directly to the UAP-AC-M's existing antenna ports — no adapters, no extra cabling beyond what the access point already has.
Good fit if you have a UAP-AC-M deployed outdoors and need to extend reach in a specific direction rather than broadcast in all directions, such as a long driveway, a fence line, or a building-to-building hop.
Worth considering something else if you need omni coverage rather than a directed beam — the stock antennas on the UAP-AC-M already handle that, and this antenna will reduce coverage in directions outside its beam.

A UAP-AC-M access point — this antenna has no radio of its own and only functions as a replacement for the AC Mesh's default antennas via the two RP-SMA ports.
