A 4K PTZ camera for large outdoor sites where a fixed camera can't cover the ground — perimeter fencing, logistics yards, stadiums, and anywhere the target might be 80 metres away.

Why this one

• 22x optical zoom with a 6.36–138.5 mm lens lets you read a number plate or identify a face at distance without digital degradation — the field of view narrows to 3° at full tele.
• The 1/1.8" sensor paired with adaptive IR illumination delivers 100 m of usable night vision, which is roughly the length of a standard Australian warehouse floor or a full perimeter fence run.
• Endless 360° pan and 120° tilt means the camera can track across a full yard without a dead zone, and AI processing runs on the camera itself to drive that tracking without offloading to the NVR.
• Rated to –40 °C operating temperature and IP66 weatherproofing, so it handles frost, driving rain, and coastal salt air without a protective enclosure.

Good fit if you're covering a large open site — a car yard, port facility, school oval, or building perimeter — where a single steerable camera needs to do the work of several fixed ones, and you have PoE++ switching in place (the camera draws up to 51 W).

Worth considering something else if your site has defined choke points like doorways, corridors, or car park entries — a fixed camera such as the UVC-AI-DOME or UVC-G6-BULLET will cover those more reliably and without the cost of a PTZ mechanism you won't use.

What you'll also need

A UniFi Protect NVR (UNVR-PRO or a Dream Machine with Protect), a PoE++ capable switch or injector rated for at least 51 W on that port, outdoor-rated Cat5e or better to the mounting point, and a MicroSD card if you want local edge storage independent of the NVR — wall, pole mount, and desk stand are all included in the box.
