A PoE video doorbell for UniFi Protect households and small businesses that want visitor awareness at the front door without a separate chime or display unit.

Why this one

• The built-in display lets visitors see a response indicator at the door, which is more informative than a blank camera face for a reception or entry point.
• Night vision means footage is usable after dark, not just during business hours — useful for after-hours deliveries or late arrivals.

Good fit if you already have a UniFi Protect setup and want to bring your front door into the same management interface you use for the rest of your cameras.

Worth considering something else if you don't yet have a compatible Protect controller — the G4 Doorbell requires a UCK-G2-PLUS or UDM-PRO (or later Dream Machine) to function, and it won't record or operate standalone without one.

A compatible UniFi Protect controller (UCK-G2-PLUS, UDM-PRO, or a Dream Machine running Protect), a PoE switch or injector at the door location, and outdoor-rated Cat5e or better run to the mounting point.
