Why this one

Good fit if you're covering a wide-angle space — an entrance foyer, loading bay, or open car park — where eliminating blind spots matters more than long-range reach, and you have a PoE+ switch or injector at the mounting point.

Worth considering something else if your priority is depth of coverage rather than width — the UVC-G6-PRO-BULLET-B or UVC-G6-TURRET-B suit a single directional zone better, and both are in the same price band if budget isn't the deciding factor.

What you'll also need

A UniFi Protect NVR — a UNVR, UNVR-PRO, or a Dream Machine that runs Protect — plus a PoE+ switch or injector (802.3at, as this draws up to 15W), and outdoor-rated Cat5e or better to the mounting point; ceiling, pole, wedge mount, and pan adapter are included, but the UACC-G6-180-FM-B flush mount is sold separately if you're mounting to a recessed box.
