Ubiquiti U7-PRO-WALL | UniFi U7 Pro Wall | WiFi 7 | 2.5 GbE | PoE+
A wall-mounted WiFi 7 access point for homes and small offices where the cable run ends at the wall and a ceiling mount isn't practical.
Why this one
- WiFi 7 across all three bands — 6 GHz at up to 5.8 Gbps, 5 GHz at 4.3 Gbps — means the AP won't bottleneck a fast NBN connection or a dense mix of modern devices.
- The 2.5 GbE uplink matches what the radio hardware can actually push, so you're not squeezing multi-gigabit wireless through a 1 GbE cable neck.
- Rated to 140 m² and 300+ clients from a single unit, which covers most open-plan floors without a second AP cluttering the ceiling.
- Designed to sit flush against a wall plate rather than hang from a ceiling, so it suits new builds where ethernet runs terminate at wall outlets rather than roof voids.
Good fit if you're fitting out a new build or renovation where Cat6 runs to wall outlets, you want WiFi 7 with 6 GHz, and ceiling mounting isn't an option or isn't desirable.
Worth considering something else if your cable runs do reach the ceiling — the U7-PRO ceiling-mount model covers a wider area from a central overhead position, which typically gives more even coverage across an open floor plan than a wall-mounted unit can.
What you'll also need
A PoE+ switch or injector to power the AP, and Cat5e or better to the wall outlet; the U7-PRO-WALL-COVER, U7-PRO-WALL-FM, and U7-PRO-WALL-TS are sold separately as finishing accessories for different wall configurations, and UniFi Network version 8.1.113 or later is required for management.
