Why this one

- 6 GHz support at up to 5.8 Gbps (BW320) gives modern WiFi 7 devices a clean, uncrowded band that legacy gear can't touch, which keeps latency predictable in dense environments.
- Wall-plate form factor replaces a standard wall outlet, so cabling stays in the wall and there's nothing protruding from the ceiling — relevant in heritage buildings or anywhere aesthetics are managed.
- The -30 to 40°C operating range means it won't need special treatment in plant rooms, loading docks, or uninsulated corridors where temperatures swing.
Good fit if you're wiring individual rooms or spaces with Cat6A drops to the wall, need a tidy in-wall installation, and have a PoE+ switch (802.3at or better) capable of driving 10 GbE uplinks.
Worth considering something else if your switch infrastructure tops out at 1 GbE — the U7-PRO or U7-LR are ceiling-mount alternatives that run on standard PoE and cover comparable areas without requiring a 10 GbE port per drop.
