Ubiquiti UA-BUTTON | UniFi Access Button
An indoor push-to-exit button that wires directly into a UniFi Access Hub to release a door latch without touching a reader or phone.
Why this one
- It connects natively to a UniFi Access Hub — no relay wiring to a separate controller, so the exit event logs in UniFi Access alongside entries from your readers.
- A rated mechanical life of 1,000,000 clicks means it won't need replacing in a typical office doorway for the life of the fit-out.
- The 30V DC, 2A contact rating covers the standard electric strikes and maglocks used with UniFi Access door hardware without needing an intermediary relay board.
- Available in black or white, with a polycarbonate and SGCC steel mount that sits flush against a standard wall box.
Good fit if you're building out a UniFi Access door and need a compliant, logged exit path — particularly for fire-egress doors where a physical push-to-exit is required alongside the electronic lock.
Worth considering something else if your door controller isn't a UniFi Access Hub, or if the installation is outdoors — this button is rated for indoor use only (0–40°C), so an exposed external mounting point rules it out.
What you'll also need
A UniFi Access Hub to power and connect the button, a compatible door lock (electric strike or maglock within the 30V DC, 2A contact rating), and a UA-G2, UA-G3, or similar UniFi Access reader on the entry side to complete the door setup.
