Why this one
- ECP 2.0 support means Apple Wallet passes work natively, so staff can tap in from an iPhone or Apple Watch without carrying a separate card.
- The 12-button capacitive keypad adds PIN entry as a second factor or standalone credential — useful where card issuance isn't practical for every user.
- IP55 weatherproofing and a –30 to 60 °C operating range mean it mounts directly to an external wall without a protective housing.
- At 5W draw over standard PoE, it runs from any 802.3af-capable port on a UniFi switch — no separate power run to the door frame.

What you'll also need
A UniFi Access hub or UA-G2-SK/UA-G3-SK starter kit to manage door control, a PoE switch or injector, Cat5e or better to the mounting point, and an electric strike or magnetic lock for the door itself. Available in white or black.
