A fanless, ruggedised UniFi gateway for industrial, outdoor or plant-floor environments where high-density PoE and a wide operating temperature range matter more than a rack-room form factor.
Why this one
- The 350W total system power budget — 270W via DC input plus 75W ATX — lets you run multiple PoE+++ ports at 90W each, which is enough to power access points, cameras and readers from a single device without a separate PoE switch.
- Rated to -30–50°C and built with ESD/EMP protection (±8kV air, ±4kV contact), it can sit in an unheated plant room, a comms cabinet near electrical gear, or a pole-mount enclosure where a standard gateway wouldn't survive.
- IDS/IPS runs at 5 Gbps with 55,000+ signatures via CyberSecure, so deep-packet inspection doesn't become a bottleneck on a 10 GbE uplink.
- The 128 GB pre-installed microSD card means UniFi Protect runs locally without a separate NVR — useful when you're managing up to 15 HD cameras and want fewer devices in the cabinet.
Good fit if you're deploying UniFi in a warehouse, factory, outdoor cabinet or any site with temperature extremes, electrical noise, or a need for PoE+++ at the gateway layer rather than adding a downstream switch.
Worth considering something else if your site is a standard office or server room with controlled conditions — the UCG-MAX or UDM-PRO suit that workload without the industrial overhead, and neither carries the bulk or cost of a 350W power supply.
What you'll also need
The 350W DC adapter is included; you'll need a mains feed to the mounting location, outdoor-rated Cat6A or fibre to any remote devices, and a UniFi Protect licence if you're recording more cameras than the local storage supports — the rack-mount kit is sold separately if you're not using the included table stand.
