Why this one

• 30 dBi of gain with a 5–6° beamwidth concentrates the signal tightly enough to sustain point-to-point links beyond 30 km where a sector or panel antenna would lose the shot entirely.

• The included alignment mount provides ±15° mechanical elevation adjustment, so fine-tuning the link after rough installation doesn't require loosening the pole hardware from scratch.

Good fit if you're running a long-haul point-to-point link — a building-to-building backhaul or a rural connection over several kilometres — and you're pairing it with an airFiber 5XHD (AF-5XHD) or Rocket Prism 5AC (R5AC-LITE or R2AC) radio.

Worth considering something else if your link is short enough that a lower-gain antenna would be easier to align, or if you need a licensed-band or 60 GHz solution — the UISP Dish is a passive antenna, not a complete radio, so you'll need to verify your chosen radio is a confirmed compatible model before ordering.

What you'll also need

A compatible radio — Ubiquiti lists the AF-5XHD and Rocket Prism 5AC as supported — plus a pole between 40 and 90 mm diameter to mount to, and a run of shielded outdoor Cat5e or better from the radio to your PoE source; the UISP-DISH-MINI is a smaller variant of the same antenna and both sit in the same price band.
