A passive horn antenna for UISP point-to-multipoint deployments where you need to serve multiple clients from a single tower or rooftop across the 5.15–6.875 GHz band.

Why this one

• The 30° azimuth beamwidth is narrow enough to reuse spectrum across sectors on the same mast, which is what makes dense PtMP deployments practical rather than chaotic.
• A front-to-back ratio of 45–50 dB typical means interference from behind the antenna is suppressed to a degree that most sector antennas can't match — directly reducing noise from co-located equipment.
• IPX6 weatherproofing and a 200 km/h wind survivability rating mean it stays aligned and operational on exposed tower and rooftop installations without additional housing.
• The included alignment mount gives ±20° elevation and ±25° azimuth adjustment, so you can fine-tune aim after installation without replacing hardware.

Good fit if you're building or expanding a UISP-based PtMP network and need a high-isolation sector that covers the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands from a fixed access point location.

Worth considering something else if you need a point-to-point link to a single remote site rather than multiple clients — a dish antenna like the RD-5G31-AC is better suited to that geometry and delivers its gain in a tighter beam.

What you'll also need

A compatible UISP airMAX radio to mount in the horn (such as the R5AC-LITE or PS-5AC), coax or direct-attach hardware as required by your chosen radio, and a suitable pole within the diameter range stated in the mounting specifications.
