Ubiquiti USW-PRO-HD-24-POE | UniFi Pro HD 24 PoE Switch | 115 Gbps…
A 1U rackmount Layer 3 switch built for high-density PoE++ deployments where access-layer ports need to carry more than standard Gigabit — 24 ports all running PoE++, four 10G SFP+ uplinks, and 600W of power budget in a single rack slot.
Why this one
- All 24 copper ports run at 2.5 GbE or faster (two at 10 GbE), so Wi-Fi 6E and 7 access points get the backhaul they actually need rather than being bottlenecked at 1G.
- Every port delivers up to 64W PoE++, meaning PTZ cameras, high-draw APs, and 90W devices don't require a separate injector or a port shuffle to find enough wattage.
- 600W total PoE availability across 24 ports is enough to run a full complement of power-hungry devices without rationing; the 660W internal supply handles it without an external brick.
- DC power backup input (compatible with UniFi RPS) means the switch stays up through a mains interruption without a full UPS — practical for comms rooms where rack space is limited.
Good fit if you're building or expanding a structured cabling environment around Wi-Fi 7 APs, 4K PoE cameras, or other high-draw devices and need every port to deliver both 2.5G throughput and serious wattage without compromise.
Worth considering something else if your devices are standard Gigabit PoE and you don't need 2.5G at the access layer — the USW-PRO-24-POE covers that use case and sits in a lower price band, or step up to the USW-ENT-48-POE if you need the same port standard across a larger port count.
What you'll also need
A UniFi gateway or console running UniFi Network 9.0.114 or later, rack space (1U), 10G SFP+ modules or DAC cables for uplink, and Cat6A cabling to access points or cameras to realise the full 2.5G per-port throughput — Cat5e will cap you at 1G.
