A PoE video doorbell for front doors and entry points where you want 5MP clarity, two-way audio, and recording through an existing UniFi Protect setup.

Why this one

• The portrait 1920 x 2560 resolution fills the frame with a person from head to toe — useful at a door where you need to see a parcel on the ground and a face at the same time.
• A 175.9° diagonal field of view covers the full width of a doorstep without needing to angle the camera, and the included 20° wedge mount handles installations where the wall isn't square-on to the approach.
• Two-way audio with noise cancellation lets you speak to whoever is at the door through the UniFi Protect app, on any device, without a separate chime unit required.
• At 8W maximum draw, it runs from a standard PoE switch port — no separate power adaptor or transformer wiring required.

Good fit if you already have a UniFi Protect NVR and a PoE switch, and you want a doorbell that records, streams, and integrates with the rest of your Protect system rather than running on a separate app.

Worth considering something else if you don't yet have a UniFi Protect NVR — the Doorbell Lite cannot record locally on its own, so you'll need to add a UNVR or UNVR-INSTANT before it does anything more than stream live video.

What you'll also need

A UniFi Protect NVR (UNVR or UNVR-INSTANT, or a Dream Machine with Protect built in), a PoE switch or injector, and a Cat5e or better cable run to the door — available in white or black to suit your wall colour.
