Why this one

• The 5MP CMOS sensor outputs a 4MP 2688×1512 stream at 30 FPS, which is enough resolution to read a face or a number plate at the distances a compact bullet camera typically covers.
• IP55 weatherproofing handles rain splash and dust, making it suited to eaves, soffits, and covered entry points — though a fully exposed pole mount in heavy rain is better served by an IP66 camera.
• At 4W max draw it runs on any 802.3af PoE port, so it doesn't need a dedicated high-wattage switch port or a PoE+ injector.

A UniFi Protect NVR — such as the UNVR or UNVR-PRO — to record footage, plus a PoE switch or injector and outdoor-rated Cat5e or better run to the mount point; the wall and pole mounts are included, and a junction box is optional if you need a recessed cable entry.
